Grandmas started back in 2016 when Christel (bio below) asked me to watch her clients pets while she was at a family reunion. She trained me and I learned a lot that week!
I quickly realized that a team approach was needed so that pet sitters could have time off while continuing to give pet clients the excellent care that they deserve! What began as temporary help for a friend has now grown into a team of grandmas working throughout Montgomery County, TX!
We are always looking for qualified grandmas to add to our team and new clients and fur babies to serve.

My name is Ellen, and I love animals. I’ve had medium & large dogs, cats, cows, pigs, chickens & a rabbit. I love that animals love unconditionally. I work full-time with Grandmas and am part of the drop-in visit & dog-walking teams. I also do limited overnights as a backup. Tim & I work part-time on Grandmas' social media and as office staff.

I’m the mother of a 16 year old son and have one rescued, lab mix named Gemma. I’ve been walking dogs since 2017 and absolutely love helping people with their fur babies. The Spring/Conroe area has been home for me for almost all of my life and I am a huge Astros fan. Being around dogs, cats, farm animals, rodents and just about anything but spiders is my happy place. I’m an avid crime/mystery book reader who enjoys fishing with my son and spending time with my mom and friends when I’m not working. I am part of the morning drop-in vist and dog walking teams from the Woodlands to old Magnolia along FM 1488.

Hello! I'm an avid animal lover! I grew up here in Montgomery County with many cats and dogs and I currently have one of each! I am a former teacher and have had all kinds of classroom pets over the years from fish to turtles to guinea pigs! I also have several years of experience transporting animals. I am part of the drop-in visit team. When I am not working, I enjoy Bible Studies, traveling, shopping, hiking, making cakes, entertaining and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to meeting you and caring for your babies! I am part of the drop-in visit team for Conroe, Montgomery & the Woodlands. I also do limited overnight visits (1-2 nights).

My little human family of 3 has lived in the Conroe area for 10 years. We proudly belong to 5 dogs, 2 cats, and a full tank of fish. I have a history with sugar gliders, ferrets, goats and parrots as well. Needless to say, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I also run a travel agent business called Wishful Wanderings which specializes in cruises. I am Grandmas small dog boarder and enjoy spending time spoiling our guests along with my husband, Shane & my teen daughter, Taylor.
